Best Of: A Look Back at Season 1 of Culture Q

This week on Culture Q we look back at some of our favorite moments from the season, celebrating some of the best stories in LGBTQ news. Starting with queer representation in Super Hero media, like our new bisexual Superman, the first trans Amazonian in Wonder Woman, and everything from Loki to Eternals. Elvira makes the list, looking back at the Mistress of the Dark's coming out in her memoir Yours Cruelly, Elvira, and later remember Lil Nas X making history at the BET Awards while performing his hit song "MONTERO(Call Me By Your Name)." And who could forget our interview with rising star, Bowen Yang, when we got to chat with him about everything from SNL to his win at the Queer X Awards, or the record breaking LGBTQ representation at the Tokyo Olympics. Finally, we celebrate North Carolina mother, Katie Jennifer, who became a lawyer to fight for the rights of her trans daughter.

Hosted by Shira Lazar and Andy Lalwani from What’s Trending, Culture Q is a weekly news shows that celebrates LGBTQ culture and highlights the stories that matter to our community.
