In this profile series, Revry is highlighting authentic contributors to the LGBTQ media and entertainment community. We ask questions to find out who they are and where they are going in the future. The questions remain the same but the answers tell their unique story. It’s time to explore and celebrate true representation beyond the limits of Hollywood.

Davis Mallory (He/Him), also known as DAVIS, has made a name for himself as a DJ and recording artist. Recognized on a national level, his music has been featured in Billboard, Huffpost, Us Weekly, People. Raised singing in his church choir in Georgia during his adolescence, DAVIS is now sober for just over five years, and dedicates time to help others recover from addictions, too.

What are you best known for?

I have made a new name for himself as an Internationally touring DJ and Singer/Songwriter with music signed to record labels by Armin Van Buuren, Cedric Gervais, Hardwell, & Don Diablo; with radio support by Tiesto + Morgan Page and music heard on MTV's WAR OF THE WORLDS, GROWING UP IS A DRAG and Hulu's GOOD TROUBLE, and profiles in MTV.com, Huffington Post, Buzzfeed, People and E! News.

What is the first song you worked on?

My first original released song is titled BEAUTIFUL GIRLS (DIEM'S SONG) a tribute to my co-star Diem Brown who passed away from ovarian cancer in 2014 :( https://fanlink.to/beautifulgirls

What are you working on that no one knows about yet?

I just took part in my first Ultra Music Festival as a News Anchor interviewing Djs Joel Corry, Topic, Morten, Cedric Gervais, Sofi Tukker, Wax Motif and more! It was a departure from my usual schedule of songwriting sessions and DJ sets.

I launched my own cologne brand in combination with a song of the same name: https://hypeddit.com/27pnkx

I also filmed an Amazon Original Music Video for country artist Jimmie Allen's song ALL TRACTOR'S AIN'T GREEN taking part in his gospel choir. It was a beautiful experience and I cried the first time I heard the song and was honored to be a part of this song - you can watch me here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDlQ5Lhfo-s

I released my very first Country single called DANCING ROUND THE FIRE written with Grammy-winner Scot Sax (winner for Tim McGraw & Faith Hill's LIKE WE NEVER LOVED AT ALL) the music video is coming soon! https://hypeddit.com/7zfwfc
