Recognized and most recently was on a NY Time's Square billboard with OutFront Media and GLAAD to kickoff their "15 Seconds of Fabulous" Campaign with the message "Happiness is for Everyone" You can find Owin on all social media platforms @OwinPierson.

What are you best known for?

I'm best known for being an Influencer in the travel, LGBTQ+ and mental health spaces. It's been my full-time career for the last 5+ years. I'm also best known for being a lead voice in the Stop Asian Hate Movement. Back in 2021 when our whole AANIPH community was traumatized and put on the spotlight of having our community being killed for just being Asian during the peak of COVID-19 as well. I felt so many emotions that I had to speak up and shared my voice and afterwards Meta/Instagram reached out to have my video featured in their guide on Instagram as their first response to #stopasianhate.

When was the first time you acted in a production?

I have unfortunately never acted in a production, well that's not completely true, I was the king in a play in my private preschool's play. I think I had one line but an iconic crown made out of aluminum foil. But I would love to one day work in production and help create and write more stories with AANHPI and Queer representation that are joyous, heartfelt and culturally appropriate and beautiful.

What are you working on that no one knows about?

Being a full-time content creator it’s kind of hard not having everyone and everything you do be totally public so I do have boundaries up when it comes to sharing what I’m working on until it’s fully ready. But I've hinted at it a few times but I'm in the process on working on my memoir/ autobiography that will go a lot deeper into my upbringing and a lot of childhood that I've never shared publicly. I'm hoping through my story that it helps more people feel seen, heard and loved, especially those in minority and underrepresented communities. I ultimately hope it inspires people to go on their on self-love journey.
