Ryan Cassata (He/Him) is an award-winning singer-songwriter, actor, and LGBTQ+ activist whose work has been featured on/in GRAMMY.com, Rolling Stone, Billboard, The New York Times, etc. With over 650 performances and seven original and critically-acclaimed musical albums, Ryan is proud to be recognized as the first openly-trans performer at the Vans Warped Tour. Ryan has been praised by The Advocate Magazine as a “Transgender singing sensation.” Paper Magazine included Ryan on their "50 LGBTQ Musicians You Should Prioritize" list. Billboard Magazine calls Ryan a “true force in the industry,” honoring him as one of "11 Transgender & Non-Binary Musicians You Need to Know" while premiering his award-winning music video DAUGHTER, garnering over 2M views on Youtube and 2M streams on Spotify. Ryan Cassata is a proud recipient of an ASCAP Foundation songwriting award for his original song JUPITER. Ryan’s self-written and self-produced album, MAGIC MIRACLE MILE, released in October 2021, charted on the iTunes Alternative Charts. Ryan is from Long Island, NY, and is based in Los Angeles, CA. 

What are you best known for?

I am best known for my song DAUGHTER which has been streamed millions of times. 

What is the first thing you worked on professionally?

The first thing I worked on professionally is was my first LP THE THEME OF HUMANKIND which was released under Ryan Cassata Music. I was 16/17 years old when I made that record. We recorded it on tape. I wrote all of the songs and music. 

What are you working on that no one knows about yet?

I am working on a new LP!
